Kérastase Nutritive Lait Vital is an intensely nourishing, ultra-light detangling conditioner for fine to medium, dry hair. Its creamy gel texture rinses out cleanly, leaving hair smoother, shinier and easier to comb.
What it does
The conditioning formula contains lipids and vitamins to help nourish, detangle and smooth dry hair. Kérastase reports up to +116% more shine* and up to 99% stronger hair**.
Who it suits
Lait Vital suits fine to medium hair that feels dry but is easily weighed down by richer conditioners. For thicker, very dry hair, look at the richer masks in the Kérastase Nutritive range.
How to use Lait Vital conditioner
- After shampooing, towel-dry your hair and apply to the lengths and ends.
- Massage through the lengths and ends.
- Twist the hair and leave for 2–3 minutes.
- Emulsify with a little water and rinse.
If it gets into your eyes, rinse immediately and thoroughly. If irritation occurs, use it less often.

No. It is a rinse-out conditioner. Leave it on for 2–3 minutes, then rinse.
Which shampoo should I use with it?
It is designed for dry hair, so pair it with a Nutritive shampoo such as Kérastase Nutritive Bain Satin.
Will it weigh fine hair down?
It is described as ultra-light and is made for fine to medium dry hair. Apply it to the lengths and ends only.

STEP 1
Once hair is shampooed and towel-dried, apply to lengths and ends.
STEP 2
Massage lengths and ends.
STEP 3
Twist. Leave in for 2-3 minutes.
STEP 4
Emulsify and rinse.
In case of contact with eyes, rinse them immediately and thoroughly. If irritation occurs reduce the frequency of use.
